A pigeon has made a little nest in the corner of our fire escape and hasn't left it for a week now..... Is it baby pigeon season or something? We've never had this happen before. I didn't know we had such a desirable fire escape.

I have often wondered what a young pigeon looked like??? Every one I have ever seen is the same size.

I did see a nest once in an airshaft in a tenement. They are lazy birds becasue all it was was a couple pieces of randomly scattered twigs on concrete...with 3 eggs laid atop. I never saw them hatch becasue I was only a short term visitor.

That's horrible, cruel and disgusting. This is exactly one of the reasons why we have had so many of our NYC Hawks die!! Shame on you!!

I'd rather hear bird "noise" than the sounds of fire trucks, police sirens, blaring radios, fireworks. Seriously learn to live with other species. No need to poison them. It's probably illegal to do so because of the chance of killing other animals. I will have to check into this.

Don't let Iron Mike Tyson find out about this, or you and your landlord will go down for the count
