A kid that I met in my school said he lives like two blocks away from this train station. The area is in East New York if I'm not mistaken, he says that the area around it and the train station is not bad at all. From reading from posts on the forum I remember reading that East New York is a really bad neighborhood so I felt like he was lying because he seemed like he was ashamed from being from ENY. He didn't even tell me he lived in ENY until I asked him, he would just tell me "I live on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn". He told me that the train station he takes to school was call Atlantic Avenue and that it only had the L train so I google mapped it. Idk if it was just me but the area looked extremely shady, the train station looked really empty sort of like a ghost town and it was full of vacant lots and houses that look abandoned. Google street view 55 Williams Place, New York, NY and look at the area around the train station. I just pictured myself walking around that area and got pretty freaked out.

Probably as bad as they come.At least in Brooklyn.A very desolate part of ENY.Nothing going on near that part of Atlantic Ave.

I drove through there a few times, and that area looks disgusting. I would imagine it being a pretty scary train station to have to go through at night.

It's not a good area. Pretty deserted and in East New York. I used to walk there at night back in the day to catch the LIRR and never had issues, but I was fearless back then. I wouldn't do it now.
