Hi guys.

My friend will be visiting Manhattan for fashion week and we're not sure which neighborhood she should stay in for convenient access (the shows are held at Lincoln Center) to the shows.

Her budget is $180 per night and she'll be staying for three days. Ideally she'd like to stay somewhere safe (some of the shows end at night) and somewhere with convenient subway access. If you guys could give insight on neighborhoods she should look to stay in that'd be great.

I work in the fashion industry. If she has been invited to the shows she should stay near LC you must be invited to attend . After parties will be thrown all over the city but the main event is LC.

Her budget is very tight and during that time hotel rates go up even more and there is very lil availability.

May I suggest https://roomorama.com/ and also Vacation rentals, private rooms, sublets by the night - Accommodations on Airbnb

Stay at the West Side YMCA. It's located on 63 st between Broadway and Central Park West. easily accessible to all NYC public transportation—uptown, downtown, crosstown buses, and the 1, 9, A, C, E, B, D, N and R subway lines.
