Hey everyone,

I am a citizen of the Commonwealth of Dominica (The Eastern Caribbean - not to be confused with the Dom Rep) and will be studying in Queens University in Flushing this fall 2011.

I have family spread out all across the NY but prefer to be on my own and not commute from other areas in NY to Flushing.

I've looked at the recently opened Summit and applied for housing on campus but it is very expensive (4460-14500 per semester and closed for Spring and Summer). I would prefer to live somewhere relatively close to campus like 15-20 mins away.

Does anyone know of any affordable apartments near Queens College? Thanks for the feedback!
