Default Manhattan Ghettos

Avoid Uptown above 125th on the west side and 96th on the east side.
Avoid the Lower East Side.
Avoid Times Square at night.
Avoid Chinatown at night.

Also avoid all public housing.

Be prepared to pay an arm and a leg.

Like what are the neighborhoods street names? How about in Harlem are there any desent hoods there?

m there's a nice few blocks up there but like anywhere else the nice places up there will cost you big bucks, harlem is not a place to aspire to live, most people who live there would love to be out of there

The Ghetto in these forums, are any place that isn't safe base on personal experience. Rich Manhattan yuppies types live Downtown. I'll call that a ghetto.

in a broad sense you are right, any area with a monolithic population is a ghetto, there is no reason that CPW for example couldn't be seen as an affluent ghetto
