I feel the same way. I got a better paying job working for NYC hoping that would give me a better chance since I now how ME preference. But, I still haven’t heard anything from any of the dozens of lotteries I’ve been applying to over the years.

IMO, people forget that nothing they say here is going to affect their eligibility either way. Folks still have the mindset of, “If I talk about so-and-so and an agent sees it, they’ll scrap my application…”

No, they won’t because that is illegal. Folks have a lot of anxiety and hysteria over these lotteries, and I think they let it get the best of them. I saw someone say that you should never post your actual log number because agents come into these boards and they’ll see it. So what?? What can they do to you for discussing your log number?? I’ve gone along with the “x” format of how we write log numbers here for the sake of keeping things as folks like them to be, but in reality, there’s no real reason to do that. No agent can discriminate against you for revealing anything about your process unless you say something that is of legal consequence to them or, reveal something you did to somehow cheat the system.

Hello everyone, I just have a few questions for anyone that has won and went through the process.

1.Has anyone used 12 months of rent history, instead of a credit check to qualify?

2.Does the amount of money you have in your checking or saving accounts, matter? Like do they expect you to have a minimum amount?

3. I know that your Federal and State Taxes are required. Since documentation is done online now, do they expect you to upload all of those pages, or can you send it in a pdf form?

I hope everyone is having a great weekend
