(Anybody and particularly any family with kids should investigate the opportunities at the 92nd St Y, corner of Lex Ave. Not far away. There are swim lessons for kids, and adults, and many other courses for different ages, sports, fitness, arts, music. Also concerts and events with bold faced names. )

I am also waiting to be called for a 2 bedroom. I moved apt numbers since applying, did they contact you through mail or your phone number? My log number is 3**

I don’t claim one way or the other for this particular building. However, in my experience, it’s always been USPS Mail. Suggest you do all of the following: Contact the management office with your address; Update your address on Mitchell-Lama Connect; sign up for Mail Forwarding with the USPS.

You regular Letter Carrier might retire or move or whatever, the replacement might not know about your apt# change.

The buy in for the 2 bedroom unit is almost $52k. That is the highest I've seen ever. The 2br lottery in the LES that's active right now has a buy in of 13k. Be advised that aside from the $52k you most likely will have to spend a couple more thousand in renovations. So taking all that in consideration, is this place really affordable?

Yes, it is affordable. Compare it to market rate coops. Do you have other, cheaper options that you like? Then you don’t need Rosalie Manning.

Since u ask, yes, I do have cheaper options. And once my log numbers are called, maybe you'll be next in line for my current place.

It’s really affordable for some people but not affordable at all for other people. Your advice is useful.

There is a lot of variation to the buy in for Mitchell-Lama buildings. I don’t know exactly why.
Penn South which is not exactly a Mitchell-Lama but is similar has a buy in ~$150K to ~$170K for a 2 bedroom (2019).

A 2 bed in Manhattan without income restrictions would start around $300K, but hard to find in UES at that price.

Does anyone know if the studio/1 bedroom moved at all? I've been trying to contact Ms. Diaz but no luck yet. The last time I checkedabout two years ago, she said there were around 30 numbers left from the old list. I know it's one of the smallest Mitchell lamas. I think about roughly 40 stuidos/1 beds.

me too, want to know how fast the studio/1 bedroom apartment moves. I called the management office and the lady who handles this building told me that she usually answers questions related to this building on Fridays but when i call her on Fridays, she never picks up
