Guys, I think there is a LOT of movement going on in Penn South!!
I'm in the PS Facebook group and someone posted that there is a notice being handed out in building 7:
"Penn South Building 7: Intermittent noise/vibrations due to apartment restoration on the 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, and 20th floors starting on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 during business hours for approximately the next 30 days."
It is very encouraging to see the progress, but I would still estimate a two-year wait for you, Shady, as well as my daughter, who's right behind you (by maybe 10 spots) on the one-bedroom list. What do you think?
I'm basing that on the factoid that 70 PS one-bedrooms turned over in a recent one-year period, and that about 50 applicants will no longer be interested or qualify financially.
At least with Penn South, the list does move, and the operation seems honest, so you will get called at some point.
I know there are fewer studios than one bedrooms, but it could be the studios turn over faster, I don't know.
