Hello. I have been looking for quite some time and I am getting fustrated with all the options

I was hoping for some regulars input. I am looking for places to eat and drink in the french quarter and around Prytania St, New Orleans, LA 70130.

I am only interested in the quality of the meal, the price does not concern me. All suggestions are appreciated.

I would like responses rather quickly as this is a busy weekend and I am afraid I will not get reservations for the restaurants that even require them..

Our tastes are:
Generally no fish. We are sausage, steak, beef, soup, spicy food, cajun (not fish).. not picky. Quality is main concern

Thank you

Dickey Brennens, Mr B's, Muriel's, The Rib Room. All are good and have a variety of foods.

Dante's and Irene's are my absolute favorites in the city, but they're all good.

Commanders and August will be expensive.

New Orleans is quite used to hosting very large events, the Super Bowl will be just another one. We do it better than anywhere in the world, so I wouldn't worry! 🚃🎭

I really wanted Irene's after reading reviews but couldnt get a reservation. Was booked solid all three nights!

When you arrive, ask the locals for their recommendations, including places that aren't tourist traps. Most locals know the best places to eat.

I suggest not worrying so much about booking a place, but instead just choosing something on the fly. There are some great, less expensive options (like Mother's, and The Gumbo Shack) that have fantastic food and don't require a reservation.
