I like driving around taking pictures on my off days. What are some of your favorite view in the city or in the surrounding areas? Not looking for anything in particular...houses, nature, people, etc. Anything. And I don't mind driving a little ways either. Thanks in advance.

The views from the inbound CCC and Highrise are my favorites. The best one to me has to be crossing the IHNC on the southbound I-510.

Guess I should clarify, I'd like some "sites" too.

I have to agree, I like the views from the numerous bridges. I like the view of the swamp from 310.

Coming up river and docking as the sun comes up is beautiful.

I am still in love with the tree-lined streets and avenues uptown. St Charles, Prytania, Washington (below) - these places never get old to me.

There are many places in America that are ugly and unfulfilling to walk around, places that are visually palatable only because we're speeding by them at 45mph, thus rendering them blurry. New Orleans is a treasure in that you can savor many of our neighborhoods while moving at a human speed.

This one shows the "wagon wheel" layout of the Uptown Streets. The dark lines are Napolean, Louisiana and Washington.

Also, the view along the jogging trail at Audubon Park when you approach Tulane from the downriver side of the park. The top of the Engineering building on UNO's campus also affords nice views of the city and lakefront.
