Well, it has turned out that the land was a good deal, and we bought it. Now I am looking for a builder. Does anyone have exprience with builders in Cloudcroft area? What I want is nothing fancy, just a regular 1200 sq ft cabin, not log home. Please I would love to hear any helpful info.
Thanks.

Good luck finding someone in Cloudcroft. Your best bet would be to find someone in Ruidos or Alamo! I adjust homes up there and there isnt a whole lot of repair/contractor types. Ruidoso is hard to get someone out to do work and be reliable. Hope that helps a little

We have had a cabin in Ruidoso since February 2007 and we have not had a problem whatsoever getting a contractor/repair company to do reliable work. If you want names DM me.

my opinion is just based on what locals tell me when they need repairs to their home after I look at them. Don't mean to step on anyones toes! OUCH : )
