Yesterday Debbie and I were on a group tour of the New Mexico Space Museum
in Alamogordo (well worth the visit, BTW) when the winds started to kick up.

I took these photos about an hour apart from the museum's outside pavilion.
The first one is a telephoto of the White Sands National Monument with Holloman
AFB visible in the middle distance almost due West of the Museum. The second
was taken looking a bit further south... That's a lotta gypsum in the air..

Great photos! I've been to White Sands Nat'l Monument and enjoyed it, but I probably wouldn't have in that much wind, especially on a motorcycle! The Space Museum is fascinating.

BTDT - I had never imagined I could ever stand in an F-1 rocket engine and look into the combustion chamber. Next time we get there we will go to Roswell and look at Dr. Goddard’s lab. This techno geek had a great time at the Space History Museum.
