I'm thinking that there isn't much opportunity to play outside of the Albuquerque-Santa Fe area. I'd like to find out that I'm wrong, especially in regard to the Alamogordo region.

We have a friend that lives in Thoreau. He's a decent singer and guitar player. If you're serious about hooking up with other musicians, DM me and I'll see if he's okay with me passing his email on to you. He's not in a band or anything and would be someone that would probably play coffee houses or smaller venues.
