Anyone know anything about getting a pet license in Sandoval Co? We'll be moving there soon and figure we will need one. I've searched their website but couldn't find anything.

Not sure about Sandoval Co, but here in TOC (Town of Clayton) you need to produce your up-to-date shot record for your dog to obtain a license. From what I understand this is pretty much standard. The fee should be nominal (and below what I think it should be) and here it is $3 un-neutered and $2 neutered, which is similar to other areas from my (outdated) research. I would like it to be up at $10 neutered and $15 un-neutered for educational purposes but thats a different thread altogether.

Easiest answer is to call the City Hall there.

That was my next step... I did find a job listing for animal control officer and one duty is to check the license so I am assuming we should have one. I'll call city hall tomorrow.

thanks!

I live in Sandoval. We just take the mutts to the vet to get their shots and they take care of all the tags.

Interesting and good to know. Thanks _yb. What part of Sandoval? Do you recommend your vet?
