Jeb Bush has had 14 years to think about his brother's war and as he demonstrated last week he can't give an honest consistent answer. Hillary supported the war at first also.
Where is Ron Paul when we need him?
Bernie Sanders is refreshingly honest and smart- I don't agree on many issues but he's the only candidate I respect.

If young people get up and go to the polls this time, no. However, I certainly think it will be more competitive. It's hard to keep a party in the White House for more than two terms. Americans like cyclical change.

His son is there. The two don't quite compare in my opinion, though...

New Mexico is not a swing state. Plus, it barely gets any votes in the electoral college so even if it was I don't see much fight for it.

Some years are swingier than others, but I haven't seen any analyses so far where NM isn't rated solid blue. And you're absolutely right about the electoral votes - if New Mexico is in play, so are a lot of other states that pack a much greater electoral punch so I would expect resources to be devoted there instead.

I'm really tired of the premature capitulation to Hillary's alleged inevitability (as the Democratic nominee). My willingness to vote for a lesser of evils doesn't reach to such depths of evil.

It's too early to tell. Plenty of time for multiple candidates to commit political suicide between now and the primaries, much less the election itself.
