Hello

I am planning a trip to Taos/Sipapu/Angel Fire areas from Santa Fe.
How would the driving conditions be?

Weather says 50% chance of snow today and no snow tomorrow and 50% chance on Friday.

I am not a good driver on snow (from Texas) so I am worried. I am not sure how soon the roads are cleaned by the crew and how busy the traffic would be. Also, as its hilly area I think there would be many slopes down the hill.

Plz suggest.

Thank you.

It sounds like a bad idea to make that trip this week. The roads to Taos are very winding, and sometimes narrow. If you aren't used to driving in the snow, I wouldn't advise it. (I'm not used to driving in snow either, and I would not want to drive to Taos under even slightly snowy conditions.)

Taos Ski Valley operates shuttles from various locations (ABQ, Santa Fe, Taos) if you don't want to drive yourself:
