Meh. I think thats a bit over kill to have some kind of "suicide watch". Just cause a couple whackjobs kill themselves in a small time period doesnt mean that it everyone is gonna start killing themselves...

I just dont think it is something worth spending time over or thinking about.

There was an article on MSN yesterday that the suicide rate has spiked.

Yes, suicides spike in bleak times and it is everywhere. A lot of people were barely making ends meet before this last series of blows.

I've watched History Channel programs about the Great Depression and they did mention the dramatic increase of suicide.
