I am looking to move to NJ. I work in downtown Manhattan and would prefer to travel by train. I need to find a train station where there are no waiting lists for residents (even better for non-residents). I can afford no higher than $450,000 and hope to keepy commute to 1 hour or less. Any advice???????
Somewhere near the Metropark station in the Iselin section of Woodbridge is a possibililty. 20 minute express train to Newark Penn. 22 minute PATH ride to the World Trade Center.
Of course you still have to get to the train station and park and when you get to Lower Manhattan you have to walk to your office so door-to-door would probably be a little more than an hour unless you work right next to the PATH.
