What the heck happened to Pennytown in Hopewell Township? I recently drove by after 3-4 years and could not believe my eyes. Closed for good? Boarded up? No petting zoo??

Pennytown closed about 2 years ago. News is that Hopewell Township bought the property and will build affordable housing there.

Neighbors deplore shape of Pennytown - NJ.com

It is quite an eyesore and a bit of history gone!
