We are moving to Mendham. I work in Morristown and my wife works midtown (NYC). I was wondering what might be the best way for her to get into the city from Mendham. I was told the best ways were either she could take the train from Morrisotwn or take the train from Bernardsville. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Its probably easier to take it from Bernardsville than Morristown. That is going to be a long train ride for her though.

I think Morristown would be easier, actually. Short hop down old 24 into town and the train station.

However, I'm from Cedar Knolls, so Morristown is logical for me, and I can tell you for a fact that depending on the time you leave from the station in the morning, you're in Penn Station from 50 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes. Not sure what the chances are for express trains from Bernardsville, because I just don't have the reason to know!
