Last fall we bought a house in south jersey. As of June 1 my husband needs to be in NYC 5 days a week. And the company will not reimburse his travel expenses. Commuting everday isn't an option.

SO- big question. What is the best temporary housing in North Jersey?

ANY input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cheapest option would be to share a place in Jersey City or Hoboken. Craigslist has penty of "rooms for rent" in both locales and for varying lengths of time.

An extended stay hotel is another option, although this will cost more doing the commute everyday.

Most expensive/best is true temp corporate housing.

Have you looked at the new AVE property? It's on the train line to NYC... AVE UNION. They do fully-furnished short-term stays.
