I've posted this before but haven't gotten any responses. Does anyone have any experience with Verizon or Time Warner internet service? I can't afford to get the cable, so I'm just looking for internet service. I've heard mixed things about both. Thanks everyone.

We have Verizon FIOS for everything, including internet - we couldn't be happier with it. No problems, at all.

Ira, do you know if it's faster than Time Warner's (the internet that is)? Thanks very much.

I have no idea but it's pretty fast. :-) I am sure if you check FIOS website, you can find out how fast their service is

I hear that it's a one year commitment and a termination fee, which annoys and scares me. That's for the triple play however. I should check to see if their are termination fees with internet service alone. Thanks everyone.

Verizon or Time Warner..Its like having to pick the lesser of 2 evils. Both companies are very expensive with shoddy customer service.

I would choose choice C, if one is available. If not, I would go with FIOS and hold my breath,
