There is a weekly outdoor flea market in the Parking lot at Giants Staduim. It is every Sat. but I don't know if it is open with the construction going on over there.
Maybe she means the old 1 & 9 Bridge (sorry it's been a while and I don't remember the name since it's been re built). It was called the Route 1 flea market...I think it's no longer there. Maybe you mean the Englishtown fleamarket on Rt. 18?
THere's a flea market at the Meadowlands - last time we went (several years ago), I think they charged admission - anyway check out the site Welcome to Meadowlands Flea Market
There's also a pretty small one in Dover on Sundays but have heard they're thinking of relocating (not sure where, maybe another area in the same town), I think it's sponsored by the Lions Club and used to be in Chester
Marshalls Creek PA, right past Route 80, also has a big outdoor/indoor flea market that's open Sat. and Sun., havent been in a while but they had a nice variety of items although in recent years some vendors left and it's gotten smaller as well.

The Tacony Palmyra Flea Market was just over the bridge on the Jersey side
...and I meant Englishtown, not Frenchtowm in my ealier post. It has been a looong time, but at least I was on the right continent
Columbus Market is basicly the only real fleamarket in the state.. it's open thursday thru sunday 4 days, not 1 or 2. It has the largest outdoor market I've ever seen.
The other indoor mall in Willingboro is nice and big, has amish stuff like Columbus does... Moderator cut: unnecessary
Their's also Rice Market in New Hope, PA. I remember crossing over a small bridge from NJ to PA. It was nice but heard their was more tables/stands if you went on Tuesdays.
There's a big flea market in Berlin also, near route 73. Has plenty of stuff inside, i like seeing the different people there.
