Need advice about moving to Princeton area (Trenton, New Brunswick: crime, restaurants)

Hey everyone, I have a job offer and was thinking about moving to NJ. The firm is located very close to princeton and the housing that they are providing is near the quakerbridge mall and Mercer oaks golf course.

I just read some threads about the crime in Trenton and was wondering if the quakerbridge mall area is safe .

Also, I am single so what places are best to meet new people.

Quaker Bridge Mall is located in Lawrence Township and Mercer Oaks golf course is located in West Windsor, both areas are very safe. Both of these areas are south east of Princeton (across Rt 1) and are usually unaffected by the crime in Trenton.
If you tell me where the housing is, I can be more specific.

As jerseyj said, the area you mention is safe. But the name of the development would be a help.

In terms of meeting new people, most of the nightlife in Princeton is good. The bars (except for the Ivy) and restaurants are mostly upscale with prices to match. A train ride from Princeton Junction to New Brunswick, down to Philadelphia or into Manhattan is also possible. Some places, like KatManDu in Trenton by Waterfront Park, will require a car to get to. As with all places keep aware of your surroundings.
