I have to drive from Philly to AC tonight, going out 76 and down 42 to the AC expressway. I try to stay away from places such as Roy Rogers and Burger King, so I'm looking for restaurants where I can stop and grab some grub on my way that won't kill me before I get there. Can anyone give any suggestions?
It's only 1 hour drive from SJ. Why not cross the BF bridge and head toward AC via Rt 70w-->73S-->AC express way. There are plenty of place to eat along the way before getting on to AC express way.

Right before 42 turns into AC expressway you can exit onto Black Horse Pike and they have a Boston Market, DD, Mcdonalds, TGIF's, and several other places right there. All within a mile of the expressway.

Wouldn't that take me about 30 minutes out of the way? I was contemplating sushi in Cherry Hill or Maple Shade, but thought it would take me out of the way.
If I were living back in SJ, I would go right to Giovanni's Italian restaurant in Northfield, the best. Every time we fly into Philly, that is our first stop. While in Atlantic City White House subs are a must.
better to just get to AC walk into a Casino's restaurant and gorge yourself
