With a 10kw solar system (we produce an average of 14kw per year) our monthly PSE&G bill in the winter ranges from $300-$350. In the summer it's closer to $500. In the spring and fall it hovers around $100.

Heat kept at 68F during the winter. Thermostat set to 78F during the summer.

Until my husband goes to work.

Is $115 a lot for gas/electric (I have PSEG) for a 550 sq ft. apartment? That's what mine was last month.

I try to keep it in the low 60's when I'm at work and when I go to bed, but when I'm home I raise the heat to almost 70 (during the winter of course).
