I am researching, from afar, the Concordia active adult community in Monroe. I was wondering if anyone knows if they have a monthly newsletter or bulletin online where I could find out more about the community and its activities and clubs.
They let their community website domain expire. Not a great sign, but the amenities look nice.
You could contact these people (also in Monroe) and see if they have any info.

Thanks, Hannah. I looked at that website but it's just a realtor's website and gives general information. Yes, it seems strange how little info is available for such a large development. I guess they don't really want to be found . . .

I drive through Monroe on my way to the ocean. It’s in the middle of nowhere, but maybe that’s what you’re looking for .

My best suggestion would be to search on Facebook for a group. Facebook is your best bet because you will probably run into people that actually live there. Look for one with the development name, then look for one with a town name. If you see one that says Monroe Williamstown Talk, that's the wrong Monroe, it's for Monroe Township in Gloucester County.
I'm not sure why there's 2 Monroes in NJ. It's confusing. The one in Gloucester County, on some things they go by Monroe Township, with others it goes by Williamstown. If you mailed a letter to someone in Monroe Township, you have to write Williamstown on the address, not Monroe Township. Cop cars say Monroe Township. Schools go by Williamstown. To me, calling it Monroe Township is stupid.
It's similar with Pemberton NJ and Pemberton Township which is next door. Cop cars say Pemberton Township. The schools go by Pemberton Township. Pemberton Township goes by Browns Mills on envelopes. Then you have various parts of town with their own name like Country Lakes, Presidential Lakes.

Thank you for all the info, Roselvr. You gave me some additional areas to research. I didn't even think about Gloucester County before - Thanks!
You might want to check out nextdoor.com. Create an account and check out Concordia, which is in the Southern part of Middlesex County. Concordia is a 55+ community. I don't live there, but I live in one of the neighboring 55+ communities.
If you create an account, you can get opinions from people who do live there, but keep in mind, as with anything you will get good and bad opinions about the area.
As far as it being "in the middle of nowhere" as a poster here claims, I don't see it that way. While you're not in the middle of Manhattan, from the Concordia gate, you will have between a 5-10 minute drive to exit 8A of the Turnpike. Monroe Township is about 45 minutes from Philadelphia, 15-20 minutes to new Brunswick and there are buses from here to Newark, New York etc.
I hope this helps.
