I read a few other posts but none seem to provide any opinion on the area of Nutley I am considering which is near DeMuro Park.
From the other posts, people mention that North Bloomfield is decent of an area, Belleville not so much.
This area border both of those towns (Belleville's Northwest and West Border) and Bloomfield's North, Northeast border.
I drove by there and it seems alright.
I have one child on the way and am primarily concerned with safety. Do not plan to live there indefinitely. There does not seem to be much commercial activity like downtown Nutley.
The nearest elementary school is Lincoln school.
Any thoughts? From other posts the Belleville section near Centre street and Berton street seems the problem area and that is about half mile away.
