Hi All - I will be moving very soon to NJ with a young family on an assignment. I am looking for an community with good schools, easy commute to NYC, easily accessible grocery stores, and most importantly, with a low crime rate. I was considering Middlesex County (Old Bridge or Woodbridge), and then I bumped on Parispanny but that is part of Morris county. Can you please advise if there is a difference in cost of living between these 2 counties and which township is better given my current situation. Thank you in advance.

They are both very similar. Upper middle class suburban towns with a large population of Asian immigrants and a lot of traffic.

Parsippany would be more expensive.

Thank you for your reply. Can you please elaborate on in terms of what Parsippany is more expensive?

Just as it sounds.

Property taxes, price of homes, and average rent are all more expensive.

Hello friends,

I am planning to move to this place (https://www.apartments.com/woodbridg...el-nj/b78gd2b/). Anybody familiar with how the community, maintenance, school (Woodbine Avenue Elementary School), and neighborhood is? A few factors that are making me incline towards this place are free shuttle to Rahway train station, from where I can board a train to NYC, not-so expensive rental price. Any advise is much appreciated!
