Hello,

I am looking for a house in South River, NJ and came across Independence Pl houses. I would appreciate an input on the neighborhood, schools and general area.

Thank you in advance!

I live in SR for past 3 yrs, on the other side, Caroline Dr. I did a google map search, it does look like a nice area. Houses look newer.
It is close to downtown, I would check the flood map, downtown SR gets flooded when it rains a lot.

I do not have children, I've gotten mixed reviews about the schools. Looks of immigrants (nothing wrong with it) but since english is the second language, something about test scores not being great. Its a nice mix of hispanic, portugese or brazilian, polish families from what I have seen.
General Area is great as it is close to RT 18, lots of shopping. also main st has some shopping (mom n pop type). Area is also close to Turnpike.
