I have this friend from Edison who frowns upon the idea of hanging out in Newark (invited her to Hells Kitchen near Prudential Center) or Jersey City (we hung out near the Grove St. PATH for Halloween. She is not down to go again at all because of the area).
She also lumps Morristown into the aforementioned cities.
Just wondering if there are any NJ cities you would never be caught dead in.
And if you would concur with the following quote:
"And I think Edison and fords and Woodbridge are a little nicer than linden, Elizabeth and jersey city."
I've lived on and off in NJ for over 50 years and let me tell you, for the first time ever, I am scared when I go into certain cities. The whole carjacking thing has me on edge--too many robberies and carjackings in my town for comfort. I had to go to Newark recently with my newish SUV and was on pins and needles the whole time.
You guys do realize that all sides of the airport are separated by major highways right? 'Avoiding' Elizabeth's EWR half doesn't really make sense (unless you're just talking about avoiding the stuff on the other side of the highway further down, none of which has anything to do with the airport)
i think he is being serious and i am joking. he is kind of a nut.
