Safe, is a very personal interpretation.

Do you have particular statistical odds required to feel 'safe' and to what level?
Any reference standards for safety?

where did you get the impression Nj is not a safe place to live?
And why just for Indians?
Have you had previous bad experiences elsewhere?

Because of this Indian residents fearful over series of bias attacks in North Brunswick | News 12 New Jersey

And the fact that the attacker is walking free on bail.

Growing up in old bridge in the 80s i know exactly what the fear is... Having car windows smashed, people leaving flyers to get out in your mailbox... Etc.

Now asians don't wild up and are generally reserved and calm. If it was another race north brunswick would be burned down and looted and the mayor would be on tv apologizing making sure the attacker got charged with a hate crime and locked up.
