So, it looks like we will be focusing on Scotch Plains or Fanwood in our house hunt...
I have been scouring this site for enlightenment on how to commute to wall st area. I think I will likely drive to Fanwood or Westfield rail stations. I understand that Fanwood has different pricing and preference for residents.
I understand also that there is a wait list for parking.
Does anyone know how long the wait list is at either station? How about on-street parking near the station?
westfield: No street parking near the train station, and the wait for the outter lots are 2-3 years (not sure if it is only resident, but I think it is)
Depending on where you live in SP, you might consider dricing to Rahway. I think they have parking available
Both places are in the northern side... I'll have to check out Rahway.
Anyone know about Fanwood?
BTW-- I called Westfield this am... No non-resident lot parking; over 5 year wait for resident
