Hi All,
I am looking to get some information on commute options from Rahway to Cherry Hill. AM commute being towards Cherry Hill and coming back to Rahway during evenings. google maps show close to a 70 mile drive one way.

Has anyone done this commute before? Trains might be difficult as i don't see a train service between Trenton and Cherry Hill. Please advise

Thanks,
zz

Gonna be tough then. The good thing about it is that it will be reverse commute, but it will still take 90 minutes one way. You will need to take the Turnpike south and then I-295, which you can get from either exit 4 (via Rt 73 north) or 7 (via Rt 206 and Old York Rd), and then get on Rt 70 west, and take that down about 5 miles to get to the Exec Campus near Cuthbert Blvd.

I personally would see about relocating somewhere that is like a midway point between the city and Cherry Hill where it is equal distance, like around the Brunswicks, which is the area I live in. NEC has a few stations around here to get your wife to the city.

Thanks for the information. Not sure what i'll do

Well a lot of people spend an hour and a half going to the city each way. The worst part for me would be paying those dang NJ Yankety Crank tolls. Public transit is doable but would take forever like 3 1/2 to 4 plus hours each way. Looks like a ride down that YankeyCrank highway unless you do the toll free option.

That is a extremely tough commute. Gas will be expensive. You can exit the Turnpike at Exit 7 and get on Route 295 South from there and save some money. This is not a public transportation commute. A car is required.

Have you thought about renting a room at someone's house in south Jersey and coming home every couple a days and weekends?

use train to trenton there Are express trains you can take going towards trenton then riverline to camden for 406. A rail pass works on ALL NJTransit modes so the bus and riverline do not cost extra. PM me details of your trip to help you better where in cherry hill are you heading to? From rahway it is not so hard how many attempt the trip?
