i just moved to cranbury this year. it is a small town with main street and has great one school from k-8 and then kids go to princeton high school. the tax is still ok compared to neighboring towns even after reassessment this year. it is fairly convenient for comuting to NYC since you can take bus from turnpike 8A park and ride or take train from princeton junction train station. there are few homes with $500K range in cranbury village area and you can get info from your agent or from realtor.com. But be aware that cranbury mailing address is used by some developments in neighboring towns and you need to look at school district in realtor.com if you are looking at cranbury township.

I used to live in South Brunswick (Dayton) and they have an excellent school district.

Default bEst schools

Whenever I see one of these posts I cringe.
Best to check for yourself. Go to the towns, visit the schools and speak with the administrators.
If you go by the recommendations from this board you will get people defending their towns and schools, with little regard for facts.
Good luck!
