Hi there, My husband and I are looking to purchase a home in West Caldwell east of west essex park. The property has some wetlands on it and we were wondering about flooding, mosquitoes, building problems, etc. in this area. There is a buffer zone between the house and the wetlands, but I can't see on the survey what distance that actually is. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

I know that by the dealerships, it's been flooding out almost yearly from the heavy rain and snow, particularly over by the Honda dealer. So be aware of that. That part of Bloomfield Avenue does get flooded.
