Recommendations for a Pediatrician in Westfield/Scotch Plains Area (Summit: pre-k, club)

I recently moved to Scotch Plains, NJ and am looking for a good pediatrician for my upcoming arrival. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also was wondering if there are any mommy groups in the area as well.

We moved to Westfield in September and my girls go to Dr Kristen Shapren on Springfield Ave in Westfield - it's about 10 mins from Scotch Plains/Fanwood. So far she's been great. As for mommy groups, I joined the Newcomer's Club of Westfield, but have met the most moms at birthday parties for kids in my daughter's pre-K class. Welcome and good luck!

There is a Scotch Plains/Fanwood/Westfield Mom's group that I found on meetup.com I just joined myself and it is a very active group

Summit Pediatrics in Medical Arts Bldg Summit. They also have night time hotline staffed by nurses and in the same office a pediatric urgicare until 11pm. This came in very handy for us over the years.

I was about to post the same question, when I saw your post. We are moving to Scotch Plains at the end of June, and I'm looking for a pediatrician in the area as well. Have you found one you are happy with?
