How dare this man try to actually use his guaranteed Constitutional right to keep and bear arms! Kudos to Christie and thank goodness this man was freed!
+1 rep for Christie. Its a very very small step in overcoming the Peoples Republic of NJ stupid gun laws but at least its in the right direction.
yeah it's crazy....My one brother who lived in Colorado had passed away in May and he wanted my other brother who lives in NJ to have his one gun..it took FOREVER for him to get the paperwork so my sil could ship the gun to him in NJ..I'm talking months...urgh
yes and he also removed the moron judge from the bench, not because of this case but another bizarre case
It should be noted that Judge Morley's ruling in that case was not only bizarre, but hilarious.
This case involved a local police officer who was caught receiving oral sex from a cow. They tried to bring him up on animal cruelty charges but the judge dismissed it because he felt the prosecution could not prove that the cow didn't enjoy it.
The sentence in the case was surprising based on prior experiences with similar cases. Unfortunately his lawyer has bungled more than one case in the past few years. He bills himself as an expert in the area but his track record is far from great. his reputation up here is not very good. He has been reprimanded by judges for presenting a defense that is far from professional. I have to wonder if that didn't have some effect.
