Nah, I was just being sarcastic. Forgot to add the "" to the comment.

NJ and many of its citizens aren't known for being very open minded to idea of the law abiding owning firearms hence the alternative headline.

How dare this man try to actually use his guaranteed Constitutional right to keep and bear arms! Kudos to Christie and thank goodness this man was freed!

Seven years? Most states would give you far less for driving drunk and killing a half dozen people. The gov was correct on this one.

It should be noted that Judge Morley's ruling in that case was not only bizarre, but hilarious.

This case involved a local police officer who was caught receiving oral sex from a cow. They tried to bring him up on animal cruelty charges but the judge dismissed it because he felt the prosecution could not prove that the cow didn't enjoy it.

The sentence in the case was surprising based on prior experiences with similar cases. Unfortunately his lawyer has bungled more than one case in the past few years. He bills himself as an expert in the area but his track record is far from great. his reputation up here is not very good. He has been reprimanded by judges for presenting a defense that is far from professional. I have to wonder if that didn't have some effect.
