I knew the prices went down, but didn't know it was that much. I know our usage went down as well and I attribute that to the pipe wrapping. Over the past year, we have seen our usage go down again. I have no idea why, but I'll take it.
Sorry! NUI = Elizabethtown Gas. PSE&G went down a good chunk too, but not 40%, I want to say somewhere in the 20's though!

Ok - we have PSEG. I knew they went down some, but wow! I was so happy to not pay a bill for a few months....
I just think equal pay is a great way to go. Pay the same price and monitor each month when you get your usage statement and take it from there. We used to just pay as we went and I hated the surprises. We've been on equal pay for about 7 years now.

Looking for the average cost to replace oil furnace, electric air conditioning, two story house, no basement, and perhaps tankless hot water heater. Don't want to get involved with contractors unless I can afford it in the first place. As usual, I purchase in between equipment, not the highest, not the lowest. Can you help? Live in Eastern Shore portion of Md., where temperatures can range from 30ies to 50ies in winter, 70ies to 90ies in summer for short stints at a time, but not consistent.

You're asking a question that is only indirectly related to the subject of a several years old thread in the forum for a different state.

You might want to open a brand new thread, in a more appropriate forum. You're more likely to get helpful responses that way.
