So today i went to Rahway ,& took 45 pictures , then went to the waterfront of JC at a New location. Then to Liberty Harbor North & Journal Sq. I'll start with my Train adventures , then tomorrow post my Rahway pictures. So a total of 277 photos , not all for this site though or thread.
Overall i was impressed with Rahway , it seems to be cleaning up its act and becoming a mini JC in the process. It seems every since they redid there station things have been better there. Linden looks the same way. NJ has a tale of 2 cities problem , the bad side is shown form the highways and the good form the Railways. The Problem is that most of the state takes the highways....
Hey cool photos,
In the past month I have ridden the Amtrak Silver Star from Southern Pines, NC to Newark Penn, twice. Too bad I didn't take any photos of those sleepy little towns we stopped in in NC and Virginia along the way. This was my first train trip for any distance (600 miles) and I found it more relaxing than driving but it did take just as much time. 12 hrs station to station.
I do enjoy your photos so keep them coming.
