Hi Everyone - we are an artistic couple in our 30's with a growing family, and would like to move to an area with other like families. We found a house we love in Yardville, NJ.

What can anyone tell me about the neighborhoods/people?

Any opinions to share on the Yardville Elementary School?

Thanks in advance for any info!

Don't know anything about Yardville Elementary School, but it should be fine since that neighborhood is pretty solid.

Yardville is part of Hamilton, which is a very large town that's kinda subdivided into five sections: Hamilton Square, White Horse, Yardville, Groveville and Mercerville. Hamilton is right next to Trenton, but then again so is Lawrenceville (I see that's where you are now). But like I said Hamilton is quite large, so depending on where you are in town you can be totally fine. Typically, Hamilton Square, Yardville and Groveville are all fine. White Horse and Mercerville are OK to bad to worse as you get closer to Trenton.

For the record, I'd take anything in eastern Hamilton (Ham. Sq/Yardville/Groveville area) over Lawrenceville since Hamilton is bigger and thus has three high schools while Lawrenceville only has one. Ham.Sq, Yardville and Groveville all feed into Steinert HS which is the best and safest of the three. In Lawrenceville and Ewing, all parts of town feed into one since it's not as big. Anything that feeds into Steinert HS is fine.
