I had moved into my mom's house after my father died. My mom died some months after that without ever signing her will.
I have been living in the house paying the bills (mortgage, gas, electric, home owners, etc)....in my mom's name. How do my sister & I get everything changed into our names?

I would highly recommend contacting an estate lawyer. These situations can be very complicated and you need to make sure you have all of the bases covered and do everything appropriately. Yes, it will cost you money for the legal representation, but you really don't have a choice.

I had a similar problem when my mother passed away (no will at all). The probate office had people that were able to help. That was in Hudson County NJ. If you don't have the cash for a probate lawyer and if available it may be an option for you. Can't hurt giving them a call.
