Storyland trip in July (Conway, North Conway: hotels, suites, pool)

We've never been to Storyland or the white mountains before. Does anyone recommend a nice hotel for 2 adults, a 5 year old and 1 year old? As long as it's within reasonable driving distance to Storyland with a pool and king bed, I think that's all we need. Any recommendations for other things to do in the area? We will probably stay 2 nights.

Disclaimer: I like Marriott stuff and would choose them when I used to travel. I spent a clean, quiet, and comfortable night in the North Conway Residence Inn by Marriott a few years ago. Some of their suites check your boxes. They have a pool.

Thanks. Those water slides in the first one look so fun, I hope they open the pool back up soon!
