AS NH goes blue. It is a sad day when the perties are no longer Equaly split in the Senate and house. AS now we know our taxes will rise and all we have to look forward to is the voters realize there mistake in the next election For NH HOUSE SENATE AND GOV. Yes I'm a republican but i've alwaysed beleived that 1 party should not control all. OUR state has done good with taxes and freedoms now we will get moree taxes and to much GOVERMENT control our dems have already tried to tell ppl how to run their buisness now they have the votes to make them run it that way.Between making kids wear bike helmets and tring to make all places smoke free and raising the drop out rate so student that don't want to be there can bother the students that do. our freedoms in NH are comming to an end.So much for the ppl the dems now will cram restricting laws down our throught and let the criminals free.and charge us more for it. the ACLU must be dancing a *** right now. I hope they don't move this post to politics as it is NH freedoms that I morn not the nations.

Have faith- perhaps this is a learning lesson for folks...and the next big election will be presidential (heaven help us)....let's just hope folks see the writing on the wall...
Cause if I don't keep the faith people will learn from this,...this country will be in BIG trouble..and I will be inconsolable....hang in there...a lot of people feel like you do...

I just hope they don't pass an income tax or sales tax. That would hurt.

I don't know the individuals who won, but I heard many were Democrats in name only. They were quite conservative, and some used to be Republicans. I don't know if any of the congressmen who won from NH fit that description. Those races were very close at any rate, so next time it could be the other way around.

About the bike helmet thing... I thought NH still didn't have that law enacted? At least that's what it says on Wikipedia!

Hmmm maybe I missed it but I just looked on wikipedia and it said "New Hampshire is also the only state with no mandatory seatbelt law for adults, and also has no motorcycle helmet law for adults nor mandatory vehicle insurance for automobiles. " ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Ham...laneous_topics )
...couldn't find anything else in that blurb about it being repealed or anything...? Where did you find it? :
