Well I might be a bit jaded, but I said Madison!

Why?

I hail from there.

It's a quiet little town that offers Silver lake and the three peas as far as water and activities, and is close enough yet far enough away from the bustle and summer chaos of the Conways.

Silver lake in the distance.

Big Pea.

I love the first picture. The Pea Porridge development does have some nice views off to the south. The Ossipee Range is nicely visible southwest of Silver Lake. You've experienced some milder temperatures up there the past several winters with variable quantities of snowfall. I will keep quiet about how cold it can actually get there, though I don't mind the cold.

It actually went down to -26 this winter in Madison?

I've been up by Albany when it was -40 many years back. It wasn't pleasant. This winter has been extremely mild, one of the warmest ever- when compare to averages.

I'm sure the wood stove felt good that morning I do enjoy the weather stations with the outdoor sensors.
