Only YOU can decide after visiting those communities. Have you reviewed previous related forum discussions? Are you reading the local online media?

I like Laughlin because it's on the Colorado River and there are lakes nearby. The traffic is sometimes bad with all the tourists and snowbirds driving up and down the main drag in front of the casinos. Some of them seem lost.

Mesquite is in the middle of nowhere on a side road to nowhere. Nowhere being Salt Lake City.If that's what you want move to Ely or Elko, both are much better.

Laughlin is a casino, river, party town. Home of the River Run with 30,000 bikers each year and the River Regatta where 25,000 people float down the river in august drinking beer and having fun!

Mesquite has less traffic because nobody goes there. Laughlin has 4 lane highways. mod cut:

Lots of mobile homes in Bullhead. Really trashy. Northeast of town is better, but not by much. Laughlin has lots of apartments. Houses are not that great. That's a place that really need HOA's

I'm moving Mesquite the end of the month. I'm locked in for a year so we shall see. Other than the Colorado River Laughlin/Bullhead suck. Especially all the river runners and the outlaw bikers once a year. Pretty trashy unless you just want to sit in the casinos. At least in Mesquite there are places to go and beautiful scenery
