I am being forced to relocate due to job loss. I have been offered a position in Lexington but it seems there are not many options in that town. I was looking at places in North Platte but they are twice and sometime nearly triple what I pay now. What are rental homes (2-3 bdrms) generally going for in these areas? Looking at the online sites such as Rent.com it is pretty expensive.

Rent is high in NP, and landlords generally don't like any pets of any kind so hopefully you don't have any. Lexington is kind of a long commute from NP so you would probably be better off looking in Cozad if you can't find anything in Lexington.
