I've recently scheduled an interview with Nashville Teaching Fellows, one of the programs under the umbrella of The New Teacher Project:
The New Teacher Project
I've noticed that TNTP programs, including Nashville's, don't guarantee job placement, but instead agree to coordinate and facilitate interviews. In some ways I like this system, since it allows teachers and administrators to meet face-to-face and make an informed decision about each other. However, it also looks a little risky.
Has anyone gone through this process? How many accepted teachers ultimately get a job, and how many fail?
