The new location will have exactly the same atmosphere...based on what I have seen and heard, everyone should be impressed. They should be open in a week or 2!

southwest of Nashville is a little known place called Norm's River Roadhouse, on River Road. BBQ is fantastic, and they have a BBQ pizza that is out of this world!!

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I had to add this.

B & C BBQ is now officially the best BBQ I have had in Nashville. I like pulled pork, and B & C's rivals anything in Memphis. We've had it 3 times in the last few months, so I know it's not a fluke. The beans are also unbelievable. The sauce on the beans was so good, I was tempted to drink the sauce when I had finished the beans.

They are in the Kroger shopping center on 8th. I thrilled to finally find a really good Memphis style BBQ place here. In fact, I noticed in their reviews online (yahoo maybe?) that one of the reviewers said they were a judge for the Memphis in May BBQ competition, and they loved B & C.
bbq, barbecue, catering, bacon and caviar, bacon and caviar catering, b and c bbq, bandc bbq, b and c barbecue, nashville, tennessee dining, nashville bbq, nashville barbecue

ETA: Based on the link it looks like they have one on Rosa Parks also. I have only been to the one on Franklin Pike/8th.

Tried B&C at the farmers market, it was good. Not great.

So far my favorite bbq is a place called Shanes Rib Shack in Hendersonville. Center point is number two.

Shanes is a chain, but it's better than any local place I've had. Period.

My parents live in Los Angeles and they visited for the first time during Christmas. My mom is obsessed with the Neelys so we took them there. They loved it and my mom bought a signed copy of their book too.

Shane's is really good for a chain, but I wouldn't put it up there against Martin's in Nolensville. Tom's Blue Moon BBQ used to be up there for me, but it seems like the quality is hit and miss sometimes. Plus the fact they open a location, then close it, then open somewhere else, then close it is a little offsetting. Shane's is definitely the best option in Hendersonville now I think.

I think Tony Neely runs the location here in Nashville. I have seen him behind the counter before and recognized him from the show. Whenever they show his brothers, he's the one with long hair.
