Ok, I am FINALLY getting to the Nashville area. Won't be the family trip I had hoped for this summer, that may be in December. This will be a girls weekend trip. Oct 10-14. Not looking to meet men, or drink alot..Looking for cool places to hang out and listen to music, and also looking for some nice places for dinner, specifically one upscale place to dress up and have a really nice dinner. Suggestions? Sambuca looks nice..but is it too boring for 30 somethings? Any other ideas of what to not miss? We will check out the local music scene on Broadway, etc..as well. Also, if you know of any happenings in that timeframe, please let me know..Thanks!

make sure you hit the Bluebird cafe for music.

I think Margot's is best food in town. Watermark is supposed to be nice. Lime and Virago are trendy//atmospheric.

should be a start.

If you're interested, I might be able to "set you up" with a friend of mine. She's single and in her thirties. She loves travel and meeting people (she's in British Columbia this week). She and her friends are always going out somewhere; if there's anything happening in town she'll probably be there.

While your on Broadway/downtown make sure to go to Robert's Western World, especially if the Brazillabillies are playing.

Is that offer extended to me, too?

There is a benefit concert for the Country Music Hall of Fame on the 13th called All for the Hall. The line up is insane and features most of the A list of current country music. The concert sold out quick, but you might be able to get some tickets on the secondary market (Ebay, Stub Hub or Scalpers on 5th Ave).

See the link below.

KEITH URBAN AND VINCE GILL, JASON ALDEAN, FAITH HILL, LADY ANTEBELLUM, LITTLE BIG TOWN, BRAD PAISLEY AND TAYLOR SWIFT SAY “WE’RE ALL FOR THE HALL” | Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum | Nashville, Tennessee

If you are going to visit the hall of fame do it on Saturday morning. They have an incredible program that features a live performance by hit song writers. It is really fun. Check out the hall of fame website for who is playing that weeked.
